Crave (Young Adults)
Crave is the young adult ministry of Empower Church Shire. It is comprised of university students, young professionals, singles and married couples, so no matter what stage of life you are at – we have a place for you. As a young adult community we gather fortnightly for Urban Connection, where our heart is to see young adults building strong relationships, growing in faith around the Word and through prayer, and activated in and around the life of the church. Our current young adults culture is one of powerhouse volunteerism – with many of our young people using their available energy, time and giftings to strengthen the local church and influence their world. We believe in doing the journey of life together, encouraging and coming along side each other in championing the cause of Christ. Throughout the year, we also host major events, conferences and gatherings.Our young adults are also involved in Red Frogs, one of Australia’s largest support networks for young people. One of the major events for Red Frogs is our volunteer work at Schoolies on the Gold Coast and in Fiji. Throughout the year our Red Frog volunteers also have the opportunity to volunteer for university ministry events and conferences. For more information, check out www.redfrogs.com.au
