The Relentless

The Relentless is the EXPLOSIVE youth ministry of Empower Church. We believe in seeing thousands of high school students being impacted by the love of Jesus across this city and living their lives in all that God has called them to be.

We meet on Friday nights from 7-9pm and students from years 7-12 are welcome to join The Relentless family for the best Friday night experience in Sydney.

It features:
  • URBAN WARS – the craziest challenges
  • SWITCH BAND – Cranking praise and worship featuring homegrown songs
  • DYNAMIC PREACHING – Funny, powerful, and relevant to teenagers, the messages at Switch are life shaping
  • + HEAPS MORE – not to mention prizes, Gold Class seating, guest bands, trips, camps and a whole heap of doing life together as family.
The Relentless is also currently involved in numerous high schools, running breakfast programs, teaching scripture and also lunchtime programs

ZonesOur youth ministry is made up of 4 zones:
  1. -        THE KNICKS
  2. -        THE LAKERS
  3. -        THE BULLS
  4. -        THE MAVERICKS
Each zone is a smaller community within The Relentless that seeks to do life together through URBAN CONNECTIONS and other activities.

Urban WarsWe also have URBAN WARS each Friday night. This is where our 4 zones come together and fight out for the title of Urban Wars Champions – each term one zone is crowned champions and rewarded with a group prize. Urban Wars range from full scale inflatable obstacle courses to real life Angry Birds and everything in between! Don’t miss the action!
