A College Students World:

Leadership Mentoring:
During your time as an intern you will receive a mentor and a practical supervisor for your chosen stream (in many cases this may be the same person). This provides an opportunity to walk closely with someone who can provide great insight, wisdom and faith for your journey. With them you will complete practical tasks and have opportunities for ministry within the context of your stream. This time is incredibly powerful as it provides an environment to outwork many of the leadership skills, character traits and talents that you have been developing during your lectures.

Mentoring:
Tuesday morning is a unique opportunity to be involved in our staff and interns mentoring. Ps David, Ps Jack & Ps Ashya McDonald all impart on a regular basis as well as special guests. They bring more than just a message but a life, which has been lived through faith in Christ. This mentoring environment is a privilege to be a part of and is key to your growth.

Lectures:
The lectures you receive at Empower College will be relevant, engaging and add tremendous foundation to your life. The lecturer’s present in an inspiring way, conveying not just information but an impartation of their lives and the power of the Holy Spirit into each lecture. The lectures and relevant assessment criteria form the foundation on the Diploma in Christian Ministry (10434NAT) you receive upon completion of 2 years of study and, is conducted under the auspices of Unity College Australia (RTO 6330)

Practical Hours:
Your practical hours are a key part of your study while at Empower College. They fall into three categories; services/conferences, chosen stream and general church. All students will be involved in the running and preparation of Sunday worship services, this is a great opportunity to be involved in making Sunday happen. Students will also be involved practically in their chosen stream whether that’s in high schools, universities or many others. Students will also complete general church practical hours which gives them experience across a variety of departments and events.
