We believe that since its inception the Church has been commissioned as both a bold advancing army and a nurturing family of faith. We hold fast to these two tensions of outward and inward focus in the two statements below of our Vision and Mission.
God has placed a dream in our hearts that is bigger than just one region, city or state. We believe we are commissioned to take ground for the Kingdom of God by establishing significant apostolic bases throughout Australia. We presently have 6 Empower Church locations fulfilling the Impacting Cities, Influencing People vision, and by God’s grace we aim to see more church’s established and empowered through our circuit in the years ahead.
We are passionate about creating a culture within all of our churches that is synonymous with;
Loving God
The greatest commandment that Christ left us in Luke 10:27 is, “Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence and that you love your neighbour as well as you do yourself” (Message Bible). At Empower Church, loving God is our greatest value. In every aspect, of every department, location and service, you will find people who love God passionately and vibrantly. Empower Church exists so that others may live!You were born to multiply both naturally and spiritually, and that is implicit in the DNA of Empower Church. Genesis 1:28 says, “and God blessed them and said be fruitful and multiply…” Every living thing that God has created contains the seed of multiplication. The Kingdom of God has multiplication at its core and we encourage our members to integrate this value into every aspect of their lives.
Sharing your Faith boldly is being courageous and obedient to the Holy Spirit. Acts 4:29 “grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word…”
We love to see people stepping out into their distinct outreach approach. Our passion is to inspire and equip every member of Empower Church into leading people to Christ through their personal best style of relational evangelism.
Empowering Leaders, Families & Generations
Our desire is to see every church member fulfilling their purpose and destiny, thus seeing increase and multiplication of God’s Kingdom in their personal life. Empowered people are influential people and naturally become salt, light and God’s difference to their world.Leaders
- Whether it be in the home, marketplace, place of education, or area of local church ministry – our prayer and goal for all our members is that they would rise and stand in their place as world changers, kingdom advancers and leaders in their world.
- As a church you will soon find that we celebrate family – which we see as the very building blocks of a healthy society. We will never underestimate the significance of one righteous family… for strong families lead to strong churches > strong communities > strong cities > and ultimately a strong nation.
- At Empower Church we are very intentional about seeing generational transfer. Ps 145:4 “Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells stories of your mighty acts.” (Message Bible) Each generation and people group brings its own distinct strength and outlook to the table of church life, thus making our combined unity a source of great strength and variety.

What we believe
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory over every sin, sickness and limitation and empower us for life and life to the full.
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, confess our belief in Him and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to walk in the fruits of the spirit and use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe the gifts are for every believer.
We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively. We believe that the price paid by Jesus Christ on the cross was sufficient to heal us of every sickness and disease. We also believe in His power to heal the heart and mind thus enabling us to live wholly and complete.
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
